During the Autumn Term, teachers worked collaboratively to develop a series of guidance materials for parents, highlighting some of the key mathematical strategies taught at Conway. In particular, the guidance focused on the use of related facts and compensation on a number line, which are important methods for developing children's fluency and confidence in mathematics.

These approaches were also shared as part of our Open Classroom sessions during the 2026-2027 academic year, when parents were warmly welcomed into classrooms to gain a deeper understanding of their children's learning journeys and the methods used to support their mathematical development.
