Lost Property

To help ensure that lost items are returned promptly, we ask that all personal belongings are clearly labelled with your child’s name. This includes coats, jumpers, shoes, bags, lunch boxes, water bottles and any other items brought into school.

Please note that names written with pen or biro can fade over time and may need to be refreshed regularly. For this reason, we recommend using durable name labels wherever possible.

Where a named item is found, we will make every effort to return it directly to your child. Clearly labelling belongings is the most effective way to prevent items from being lost permanently.

The school maintains a Lost Property area where found items are stored for approximately two weeks. Following this period, unclaimed items are displayed in the playground to provide parents and carers with a final opportunity to recover any missing belongings. Any items that remain unclaimed are then donated to local charities or clothing banks for recycling and reuse.

Thank you for your support in helping us return lost items to their owners and reduce unnecessary waste.
